Flotilla Floating Breakwater
FLOATING BREAKWATER
HIGH QUALITY
SYSTEM
Fast installation, has long service life, and causes minimum distribution to the natural ecosystem.
FLOTILLA SYSTEM
Flotilla system consists of two main components: the Underwater structure, also known as the "Surfing Zone, " and the floating structure called the "Reducer Zone." The Surfing Zone is designed with a sloping configuration, while the Reducer Zone is arranged in a triangular pattern. These components are constructed using specially designed HDPR plastic buoys and sheets, which possess exceptional strength and flexibility.
During installation, the structure is positioned offshore and secured to the ground using an anchoring, cable, and rope system. This ensures stability and prevents displacement.
Flotilla utilizes wave collision with the Surfing Zone to break their energy, reducing wave accumulation in Reducer Zone. This ensures that the remaining energy is manageable and safe, effectively mitigating wave impact.
VERSATILE TECHNOLOGY
Flotilla Floating Breakwater System incorporates a low drag coefficient design, making it highly hydrodynamic. Its engineered angular contacting surface can effectively decrease the force of incoming waves to a manageable level. The purpose of Flotilla system is to dissipate wave energy, which allows water flow and sediment to pass through, providing the additional benefit of coastal restoration.
It serves as a protective structure for various coastal areas prone to coastal impacts. its versatility also makes it highly suitable for tidal range areas. By leveraging its innovative design and energy-dissipating capabilities, the Flotilla system offers both coastal protection and the potential for ecological restoration.
